I'm not sure what kind of beans they are. Madagascar. Tahitian. But they smell like vanilla beans that I've ordered in the past. So I'm sure they will make great vanilla extract with vodka. They seem like a reasonable plumpness. I remember getting some in the past from a different company that seemed very dried out so they must have been grade b. So these grade A ones seem fine.
