Battle rope must
If you don't want to anchor your ropes to the wall or redhead them into the concrete this is the answer for you. This strap makes it convenient as it allows you to anchor to just about anything, a dumbell, a tree, your neighbors mailbox or whatever. If you need a solid anchor that's flexible to relocate this will do the trick.

This works great - I would buy this product again
I am not sure I can change anyone's mind on what to buy but I will confirm what some others have already stated. The battle rope anchor arrived quickly and in great condition (new) - the package included instructions and a card with a link to go online for other details - I have not yet followed that link as it has not been necessary. At some point curiouslity will get the better of me and I will check it out.I too received an introductory email thanking me for the order and it included installation instructions and a sheet describing how to use a battle rope. This was not needed nor expected but I can see where this information would be helpful for someone not familiar with using either. The anchor itself appears to be well made - I have been using it for a few weeks with no signs of wear or impending catasrophic failure.I purchased two anchors from two different venders. The other anchor purchased has a longer strap which made it more versatile for use outside. This one works perfectly in my basement in two specific scenarios. Clipped to a ring on the base of a punching bag stand and used to secure the rope to a smith machine. It works perfectly with a 1.5 inch and 2.5 inch battle rope (not at the same time). Though not mentioned, for added stability, I lay a 30 pound sandbag on the anchor to minimize the ropes movement.Matt D

Great, Multi-Use Anchor
I purchased this product mainly to protect my battle rope from fray damage at the bend, which I hear is quite common. The anchor is crafted well & truly is heavy-duty, so I expect to receive many years of use. The 3-pc design was a pleasant surprise, which allows me to use the anchor strap for multiple workouts (rope, jump stretch bands, weight training, etc). My primary concern: the anchor strap, like nearly every method I’ve tested, makes the battle rope movement slightly “choppy” or “untrue” when compared to using a wall loop anchor ONLY. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but if you typically loop your ropes directly into a wall or bench anchor (ie: metal on rope), then be aware that a nylon strap will slightly change the way the ropes move. It’s the trade off for protecting your rope from fray damage.

Simple Idea Executed Flawlessly
They are what they are and like so many things in life, they should be pretty straightforward...well, surprise, they actually do the job and do it well and they appear, due to solid construction, that they will do this job for a very long time. Ordering another set. Basic device and concept with excellent execution. Buy them.

What I needed plus some.
I needed another strap to attach a Spri exercise tube to eye bolts I installed in my cellar a few years ago. Oddly, Spri has stopped offering anything appropriate, but these Eclipse anchor straps are perfect. What's more, there are 2 straps and a carabiner in the set. Each strap served to anchor one Spri tube, plus I got a good sized carabiner for the future. Perfect.

Sturdy but cumbersome
These are two very sturdy woven nylon loops, one that is being looped around the battle rope, and the other one being looped around to post (mounting area). The problem is that both loops are "tied" together through a single Carabiner Hook. There are S-hooks on the market that if you pick the right size make it easier to get one loop in and out of the hook. Right now it is cumbersome to take the loop out of the hook and tie it around the post, and then put it back in the hook. The nylon band constantly gets stuck at the inside groove of the hook, and the width of the sturdy loop is wider than the "mouth" of the carabiner hook. When you would have an S-hook it would be a quick in and out.We have to mount it daily on a public training field. IT would be only a one-time operation if it would be permanently mounted.

Other than that this product is perfect. I love that I can leave it strapped ...
The design is flawless, but the only gripe I have is that the carabiner feels too weak to hold up longer than 6 months. I wish it came with some kind of heavy duty carabiner; even if it were the type that threads into itself. Other than that this product is perfect. I love that I can leave it strapped to the barbell while doing bent over rows then immediately super set with the battle rope afterwards.

Looks and feel as advertised
I received an electronic copy (via email) of the instruction and exercise chart for the battle rope from the seller just in time before I received the item. The anchor strap kit with stainless carabiner looks and feels heavy duty. I haven’t use it yet but I think it is a good product.
