Product came quickly after ordering and is exactly as described. It was sent in a small box with foam packaging that wrapped around the knob to keep it safe. No manufacturing marks or defects on the knob itself.For the Knob, it has a smooth finish similar to a brushed metal. I was a bit concerned when ordering that it may feel slippery in hand, but after taking the car for a spin I really like the texture.The weight was surprising to me. With this being a plastic item I expected it to feel very light. To my surprise it has a bit of heft. Weight is similar to a pool ball or similar.Has a full metal threaded insert, which is great. Screwed down completely and securely on my shift lever. Another commenter recommended blue Loctite, which I haven't done, and am not sure it is necessary.Overall very happy with this purchase so far. This is about a third of the price of similar name brand Delrin knobs that I had been considering. Would definitely purchase again.

Item exactly as described, comfortable and fast shipping. The delrin is nice on hot/cold days as it isn't uncomfortable like the metal knobs get.Random notes/caveats:My hands are a little on the small size (large for a standard glove) so I'd recommend a 40mm personally if you're of the same persuasion.For install I'd recommend a little low strength loctite or ptfe, this has no internal collect like others to place a jam nut against.These notes are not a failure or due to misrepresentation of the product. Just an fyi, product is exactly as described and wonderful, just a heads up to not be afraid about the product, I'm extremely happy with it. Compare prices to the name brand one, it blows them out of the water...

Great product. Fit perfectly and feels good in the hand. I expect it to stay cooler than the metal one it replaced.

This ball screwed right on to the shifter and is very nice. Screws on tight and doesn't move. The finish is nice and smooth and although it isn't a weighted knob it still has a little heft. I really like it.
