A small (4.125-inches) beard and mustache maintenance scissor made for working professionals, the Henbor Superior can endure coarse hair for years without resharpening. It will not cause a client to complain of the scissor "tugging" thanks to its extremely fine serration on one blade; rather than conventional German-style serrated scissors which are easier to control but which have much coarser serration which causes a bit of a tugging or holding sensation, on the Henbor you cannot see the serrations with your naked eye, and only by using a loupe or magnification will you see that each blade's cutting edge differs slightly to the other. The serration here is only employed for edge retention, not for "catch and cut" type control as with other (coarser-serrated) moustache scissors, and this means both no pulling but also that it quickly cuts where pointed without holding the hair. Thus, this shear's a tremendous value option for those with superior motor skill, ambidexterity, or for professional barber-stylists whom do not want clients complaining of tugging from a beard scissor and would always use their dominant hand. Home users lacking skill in their non-dominant hand will be better served to choose more conventional models with the "catch cut" style serrations. The carbon steel formulation of this scissor has been given a Teflon coating on all surfaces (including the inner blade planes) before grinding the final cutting edge, providing a unique grip to the rings, a deliberate action, and a distinct appearance. Teflon also helps prevent allergic reactions to necessary presence of nickel in the steel, and increase resistance to oxidation.
