Ornaments are small sliced tree slivers that are hand painted and sealed. The fronts are painted with an symbol representative of that days reading and the back has the day on it. They are intended to be used December 1-24th for Advent. There are 24 ornaments that range from 1.5" to 3" in diameter. The ribbon and images may vary. These ornaments coincide with the Jesus Story Book Bible. To make it simple I have included a cardstock bookmark with the story name, scripture and date on it. You can hang the ornaments on your traditional tree, or purchase a special tree from my shop to place the ornaments on. This is a great way to anticipate and celebrate the birth of Christ with your family! What is an advent tree? It is a daily activity of reading scripture and hanging an ornament on the tree for the month of December in anticipation for Christ's birth. It was first begun as a Jesse tree, but now many are using other training tools such as the Jesus Story Book Bible to teach children.
