The item was of much better quality than my previous purchase, which fell apart at first use. It did what it was supposed to do. It was used to centre the holes for piano hinge, and, it came with extra drill bits. So far, so good.

I've yet to use them as they will be for the last part of the project but I have to say they are very well made and for that alone together with delivery time they get five stars, a bargain.

Poor quality, spring part is not straight on some which defeats the object

Price is great, other brands are same price for one size.Not used other brands so can not compare overall quality. They are definitely better than going off free hand. Some of the tips are smaller than the holes in hinges so still a little manual adjustment needed. Bits do tend to come loose after being used a couple of times. Very easy to retighten though.

Product just about works, but disadvantages outweigh the benefits.The drill bits were not straight so alarming amount of wobble when rotating in the drill chuck. Despite being bent, the ones I tested did drill one hole centered correctly - then the problems happen! The drill bits always clog badly and the time taken to unclog more than outweighs the time saved. Also the spring inside slips over the base of the drill bit and so the bit will not correctly retract after drilling - necessitating complete strip down and reassembly after each hole.

Item was despatched on time, I haven't used them yet but they àppear to be well made and should be able to do the job.

Had problems with the springs sliding up the shaft and jamming the guide. They only drill to a depth of about 15mm, which is enough to get a hole for another drill to follow but does mean more time changing bits.

Cercavo da tempo la soluzione per fare prefori esattamente al centro per il montaggio di cerniere a tazza. Ho anche usato questi centratori per forare al centro di fori già esistenti per poi avvitare viti in modo preciso.
