The wave blade is made of high quality chrome molybdenum steel, hardened by vacuum process to 56-57 Rockwell hardness. The matt polished blade provides optimal rust resistance. Due to the regular waves along the blade, the knife glides safely and without slipping through cuttings with hard shells or crusts. The shaft spacing (from tip to tip) is 6 mm. The standard plastic handle is made of particularly non-slip and comfortable grip material (TPE). The well-shaped protective nose provides a secure hold and reduces the risk of slipping of the knife-leading hand. The plastic handle is suitable for contact with food and complies with the requirements of the following legislation (including all supplements and at the time of this declaration): Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and objects (including active and intelligent food contact materials and objects) intended to come into contact and to retrieve with food. guidelines 8. 0/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC - in the respective valid version. Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 of 14.01.2011 on materials and objects made of plastic intended to come into contact with food. The Giesser knives are dishwasher safe except for knives with a wooden handle. However, to protect the cutting edge, we recommend manual cleaning. Caution: even a pouring knife cannot withstand foreign rust. Avoid products that are cleaned together with the casting products in the dishwasher and thus can transfer the foreign rust.
