A Twisting Exploration
The setting from Midworld was 100% of what got me to pick this book, and Foster chose just the right way to explore it. It was the same awe and discovery as Midworld with different tensions. For those that haven't read Midworld and don't grasp the colors and mysteries of the planet this novel and Midworld take place on, I can only recommend it if you like lush nature. The immersive feeling of the planet-rainforest is at the forefront the whole time.

One of my favorites
Mid-Flinx is one of my favorite adventures of Flinx and Pip. All the usual bad guys are in it, as well as several of the good guys. And I love this planet -- although I wouldn't want to live there.

Book 7.
Pursued by a spoiled, rich, obsessed maniac who wants Pip. Flinx flees and discovers a unknown world. The ingenuity of Foster in creating diverse worlds, aliens and civilizations is especially on display in this novel. I do wish the novel's number was included on the cover. It would make reading order on kindle much easier.

This is a fantastic sequel to MidWorld
This is a fantastic sequel to MidWorld: "The world with no name". "Green it was". MidWorld in my opinion, should have been the plot of Avatar. Avatar used much of the biological emphasis of Mid World but lacked the very plausible/simple explanation of why humans were on the planet and how they had evolved to survive --a space craft had crashed on a world that was totally a rain forest. If you enjoy SF, I think you will greatly enjoy Midworld and the equally enjoyable sequel, "Mid-Flinx".

Another great read
I loved this book because it was such a different adventure for Flinx. I won't bore anyone with a plot summary because other reviewers will supply that kind of thing. I loved the new characters and hope we see them again someday. I recommend this book to anyone who liked/loved the other previous books in the series. The series continues to give more insight into Flinx and his mind while watching how he reacts to new situations based on what he's learned before. I think people should give this series a shot beginning with the first book.

It's good
I got a little tired of seeing words like "hylaea" and "lianas" and "bromeliads" a hundred times, and I still would like to know what's really on the forest floor. Otherwise, a good read and worth the money.

Classic Foster
Alan Dean Foster has an imagination as rich as his vocabulary, and I'm particularly fond of his stories regarding Midworld, that amazing planet full of life forms that are as beautiful as they are dangerous. He brings the reader into the story and makes one feel as if they are there.

Fantastically entertaining and riveting read.
I thoroughly enjoy ADF books, but being the pedant I am, I constantly note errors in his books and in this one it's a biggy, but I won't spoil it for other readers ;)This is a brilliant and at times a nail-biting edition from the extremely vivid imagination of ADF. I'm so looking forward to continuing the journey with Flinx and Pip.

Fauna & FLORA
Strangest world so far Flinx relaxes while his enemies suffer from a lethal planet. Satisfying continuation of the great story

You will never look at house plants the same way after reading this book.
This is one of the better Flinx novels. If you've ever wished for a planet covered with greenery and flowering plants, be careful what you wish for, since every plant on this planet wants to eat you.

Another great mid world book
Fosters midwold was one of my favourite books until I read this one. The intricate details of this world make it so special and its such a joy to read. I wish foster would continue this series or there would some sort of movie adaptation.
