IT MUTES ITSELF!!!
I don't understand why they manufactured this product the way that they did. I received it same day, thanks Amazon. I set up everything and it all seemed to be working great. Excellent features, lights, options. It had clear audio and great connections and everything.........except for one little issue. IT MUTES ITSELF! In the description, the seller says that it has a feature that mutes the output audio if there is no signal coming in. Then it unmutes itself once audio is received. That's great in theory, but realistically, the audio, when muted on the device, takes about 1-2 seconds to come back on.For example: there is a scene in a video where a person is talking. The audio is coming through. Then that person stops talking for like 5 seconds. At this point, the device will turn on its automatic mute function. Once the person starts talking again, the device will detect the audio and unmutes itself. BUT, since it takes 1-2 seconds to kick back on, the person talking again is already halfway through their sentence.This is very annoying and makes watching commentary or scenes that include silent parts annoying. I can't even imagine what the audio is like in a horror movie with this device.I have never returned anything to Amazon before, and this will be my first. I DO NOT recommend this product.

`Worked great initially but it stopped working after 2 days! Ordered a replacement to see if I will have any better luck with this.Update: Had to return the second one too as it only worked for 5 mins! What a joke!

Didn't work, but may have been our TV.
This amp didn't work, but apparently Samsung TV's are fussy about the kind of digital signal they emit, so I can't fault the amp necessarily. Amazon was amazing with the return process. Fast and easy.

This item works great. I bought it to use with head phones so I can watch tv while not bothering anyone else in the house and it does that well.
