This is a really competitive cleanser. I'm a sucker for a good Korean skin care product anyway. You don't need a whole lot for it to foam up very nicely. It creates a ton of foam, actually. It's very creamy and it's not drying at all but it does get you clean (I haven't tried to wash makeup off with it yet but it's so gentle that it may work better for fresh skin — I'll try it and report back).I have hypersensitive skin and I had no negative effect from using this. My skin felt very clean but not stripped after each use. The ingredients list is pretty interesting. I've not seen wormwood herb used in many products. However, upon researching it, it's an excellent skin care ingredient for those with any kind of skin infections or acne, etc. This is definitely something I plan to use up and would consider repurchasing. I also find products from this brand priced pretty well and very sensitive skin friendly.

This is a good cleanser with a very creamy texture. You only need a little bit, so the tube should last a long time. It's a good value.It has a nice herbal scent that I really like. It does a good job removing makeup, even mascara. It doesn't sting my eyes or skin.The only reason it's not 5 stars is that it leaves my skin feeling squeaky. I can't tell what causes that. My skin doesn't feel overly dry or tight, so I think there's a film on it that I can sense. The best I can describe it is squeaky.

This cleanser has a thicker consistency like a mask when it first comes out. I dispense into into damp palms and massage on a damp face and it foams well. I don't really need that much. When I add water and start to rinse, it turns white which could be the oils emulsifying.This leave my face squeaky clean -- my face literally squeaks as I am washing away the last of the cleanser from my face -- and I have never experienced that before. Despite the long list of extracts and oils, my face has responded well to it and I like the cleanser.Have to admit, the smell is strong like wormwood, juniper and pine (those extracts are included). It is not my favorite but thankfully it dissipates as soon as it is rinsed off. This has added fragrance that is pretty high on a long list of ingredients list, which surprises me. There are a lot of ingredients here that potentially add scent like lavender, jasmine, citrus, linalool, and other fruit and flower oils on top of the obvious ones I mentioned. Not sure if the fragrance is adding to this heavy smell, but I could do without it.

I kind of like this Fraijour Original Herb Wormwood Cleansing Foam, but I'm not 100% happy with having to fiddle with a tube of cleanser vs. either a pump dispenser or a top with a much larger hole in it.The cleanser itself performs very well, the scent is very mild and pleasant. The ingredient list reads like a short novel which does make me wonder exactly how many of the ingredients are 'key' to the cleanser's performance, but what do I know?I have a tendency toward oily skin so I felt like this cleanser didn't perform quite as well as other facial soaps in keeping my pores open.

This is the third Fraijour product I’ve tried, and I’ve really enjoyed each of them. This is a nice cleanser with an herbal scent. You only need a little to wash your face. It has exfoliating beads in it that help you scrub well, and it leaves my face feeling squeaky clean. I have combination skin that can be sensitive; this cleanser works well for it. Even using it daily, I’ve had no reactions and my skin has been healthy and not at all dry. For the price, this is definitely 5/5 stars. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. One note: it comes in a box with the ingredients and usage instructions listed in English, but the actual bottle is in Korean.

Fair warning, a little goes a long way. If you forget this an use too much, it tends to get into your eyes and that is the most uncomfortable. However, if you use it correctly, it works well. It doesn't cause too much drying of the skin and leaves it feeling comfortable. At first, it felt like it left a small film on my skin but either I've gotten used to it or I just didn't rinse well enough the first few times. The tube is a bit harder to deal with once it's closer to empty (think toothpast tube, but bigger), but it is very generous in size so it will last a long time. The smell is nice without being overwhelming. I'm not a full convert, but I'm happy to keep using it.
