Remote Control for Sony RM-ED020 Bravia LCD Plasma TV RMED020 - Substitute Replacement.

My old genuine Sony remote failed on the volume setting button. This was the second time this has happened. I was a little disappointed that I could no longer get a replacement and then I found this one. I was a little apprehensive at first that this would work at this price. After reading the reviews I decided to order. 2 days later it arrived by Amazon courier. I placed 2 x AA batteries into the remote. The TV was already on so I pressed the volume control and it worked, the channel change worked, the on/off worked… in fact everything the old £25 old Sony remote did this £9.99 remote does. I am delighted, No configuring, no codes it just works. If your old Sony TV remote fails get this one. 10/10

I am so unimpressed with this remote. It changes channels etc when it feels like it. The quality is horrendous. I am now going out to buy another that is far better quality

Works well with our Sony TV, button layout slightly different but not a problem. We have control - that's all that matters.

Sub title button does not work.which one is very important for me.

Felt very flimzy and light. First drop it broke. I would not recommend this for anyone.
