Review: Do not heat it up first, because it melts the pastry and you cannot handle it. - I did not like it at first because it says to heat the samosa maker up first before putting the pastry on. It was so messy especially the filo started going hard and you cannot manage to mould the pastry into the spaces for the mixture. I gave up cleaned it and put it away. Then after a few days decided to have a go again with puff pastry AND I did not heat the maker up first....result it worked, perfect samosas! I have used this many times all perfect, just it is a bit tricky to clean. Also make sure the mixture your using is not a wet mixture because as it cooks it will leak and make dark markings on the outside of the samosas and some will stick on the maker and break the samosas. I have since made a few batches and put in the freezer for quick easy tasty lunches during lockdown!

I did not like it at first because it says to heat the samosa maker up first before putting the pastry on. It was so messy especially the filo started going hard and you cannot manage to mould the pastry into the spaces for the mixture. I gave up cleaned it and put it away. Then after a few days decided to have a go again with puff pastry AND I did not heat the maker up first....result it worked, perfect samosas! I have used this many times all perfect, just it is a bit tricky to clean. Also make sure the mixture your using is not a wet mixture because as it cooks it will leak and make dark markings on the outside of the samosas and some will stick on the maker and break the samosas. I have since made a few batches and put in the freezer for quick easy tasty lunches during lockdown!

It's the best maker I have ever bought quick and easy perfect for pre dinner drinks and parts it is really good I find if you hear it up then un plug it to put pastry and filling in other wise it starts to cook the lower pastry casss first
