I put it in a vent hood in a renovation, and I’m obsessed. Adds great texture and depth! Have a hot glue gun handy and use a pin nailer and glue for install!

While this product was consistent with the advertised description, most of our defects were related to shipping with a few broken slats and damage around the edges. We assumed the panels would be dimensionally consistent, but they aren’t; each one is not quite the same as the others. You’ll see a photo of the finished result, which came out OK, but it was impossible to get all the slats to line up and the gaps between panels are obvious. On the plus side, the quality of the slat veneer finish is excellent and the sound deadening backer is stout.

Good quality acoustic wall panels. I've bought 3 companies version of this type of wall panel. One of which is the high end, high price companies that sells a ton of wall art type products. These were a lot, I mean a lot cheaper and honestly there is no discernable quality difference between these and the far more expensive brand. Buy these, save the money. They are all the same products almost exactly or often exactly as the next. This particular company doesn't include screws for attachment. You'll need to hit the hardware store and spend a few bucks but in doing so saving a whole lot more. Side by side there's no visual differences. Weight is as close as can be. Efficiency is equally as similar.I found that these are really effective at deadening incoming sound from exterior sources and excellent for creating a "cleaner" sound environment. They turned a bedroom from a loud echo filled room to an absolute sanctuary and an entertainment wall into a much cleaner sounding, low distortion theater like sound experience. I happen the find the look attractive also. Definitely recommend these for any similar situation, or for the aesthetics alone if that's what you are after. One unexpected and really nice benefit is the insulation of the wall that I applied these to in the bedroom. It had always been very finicky and here in the northern US really damn cold in the winter. That changed dramatically now and the room had to be adjusted for less output from the HVAC unit. Very surprised at the difference they made and also very happy.

Overall look good. If you need to cut it for some spot in horizontal cut, it will not work very well. Because the wood attached to the board by nail (I guess) top middle and bottom. I thought the wood attached the bord with glue but the reality is not. Some wood the edge is peel out,too. This is why I gave 3 stars
