Excellent resource.
Great book on royalty in addition to facts regarding dates with the change of calendar systems. Not only a good resource for lineage but backed up with good information. I learned a lot from this book.

Royal English genealogy to 1400.
Very helpful in reading British history up to 1400. Gives several generations of sovereign's issue. For history 1400 to 1990 try Alison Wier's Britain's Royal Families: the Complete Geneaology. She doesn't include as many generations of issue until Queen Victoria. Do not expect a novel from either book.

Superb if you are interested in medieval royal and aristocratic genealogy
If you are interested in royal and aristocratic genealogy of the medieval period, this book is superb. It presents information on descendants of medieval English monarchs in a very easy-to-follow form, with a good index. The print size is good.
