Google Pixel 2 XL Battery Case, ZeroLemon Ultra Power 8500mAh Extended Battery Case for Google Pixel 2 XL (NOT for Google Pixel 2)- Black

I'm not going to give it negatives because its a big battery, I knew that going into it. Sure its huge, but if what your looking for is added battery life without the need to carry around a cord & power bank this is for you. This is ideal for someone who is going to be traveling or at an all day event and doing a lot of video/pics and wants to have minimal stuff to carry around with them. The 2XL has great battery life already, but video can really drain a battery if your recording a lot. It's also great if your going on hikes or in nature camping etc with a bookbag to keep it always at 100%.Pros-Great fitment and quality material as usual from zerolemon. I love the no fingerprint material they use. I wish they'd make standard cases to just protect your phone out of this stuff! Its one of my favorite materials of any style cases.-Cost is good-A company supporting google and not just iPhone is always a positive to me too! Good to see the support.Negative-Doesn't appear to have rapid charging?-I wish it had a more compact design at the bottom like they did for the galaxy s9 cases. The holes almost look like they are vents at the bottom or for phones with bottom firing speaker to redirect the sound forwards, but the 2xl has front facing speakers, so I don't know?-won't fit your pocket too easilyAll in all if your looking for extended battery life for use at certain events and times this is the one. I can't see usually it daily due to the size, but for me the temporary function is what I wanted and it delivers.

This would be a good case if you knew you would be going somewhere without the ability to recharge for a while, the case has a little more than double the battery capacity of the pixel 2 xl. The case makes the phone a little longer, so it's a bit of stretch to reach the top of the phone. Secondly, this case turns the pixel 2 xl into a heavy brick, holding it for a while might bother your hands or wrist. I'm not trying to push you away from buying this case, it's great for battery longevity. My first thought while putting the phone in the case was that I received the pixel 2 battery pack, but it is the right one it's just smaller than the slip cover. Overall! Great case for the long haul, plus don't forget to use the extended warranty !

We had a huge vacation coming up and I wanted a portable battery solution. The battery on my Pixel 2 XL was already pretty good but I didn't want to have to worry about charging when at Universal Studios and Kennedy Space Center. Having used another major battery pack brand, I was looking for alternatives since they didn't make one for the Pixel 2 XL. That's when I found the ZeroLemon.I had previously tried a ZeroLemon on the Note 8 but I returned it because installation was worrisome. While it was easy to install, removing it was a chore and I worried about bending the charging port. So, I was pleasantly surprised in how it installed on the Pixel 2 XL. The ZeroLemon comes in two pieces: the charging base and the rubber covering. You remove the rubber covering and slide the Pixel into the charging port. Then, simply put the covering over the base and phone and it is ready to go. Yes, this is HUGE but I found it surprisingly workable and it still fit in my pocket, mostly comfortably. Removing it from the phone takes a little work to work the rubber over the phone but not once did I feel I was bending the charging ports.Charging your phone is easy, just hold down the button for a few seconds and it starts charging. I did have some overheating issues during the charging and unfortunately, it caused problems in key videos I was taking, as it made them jerky and almost unwatchable, so you will need to pace out your charging time, As mentioned, the phone will get quite warm during the charge. But these are things I can live with since it is so easy to use and it works well. I could get almost 3 full charges with this battery pack.Other notes - Charging of the battery pack itself is slow, so make sure you have time if you need a full charge. It is recommended to use your original/OEM charger for this. It is USB C.This is a fantastic portable charger for the Pixel 2 XL and if you don't mind the bulk, you don't want to be without this.

I've had great luck with this battery case for occassional trips where I know I will be using my phone more during the day than a single charge can handle. Normally, in daily use, I can get to the end of the night with 10-20% left on my Pixel - but if I am on a business trip or vacation and using it a lot more (like several hours on a flight) then a single charge won't cut it. This battery case, though, roughly triples the phone's life! I like to wait till it reaches 5-10%, then turn on the battery and let it charge back up. I've never needed to do that more than once in a day, and when I do the battery case itself still has >50% charge left. I could probably make it two whole days on a trip without having to recharge at a wall socket, if I needed to! Definitely worthwhile to have if you are going to be using your phone a lot, or if you will be away from wall chargers for an extended time.It does add bulk and weight, so it is a little harder to hold - but it isn't too bad, IMHO. You also have to work a little harder to get your finger to the reader, because of the added depth of the case around it, but its not too hard once you get used to it. The protection the case offers is maybe not quite as good as my normal phone case, but it isn't bad and it does make a *slight* lip above the screen to help protect it if you lay it face down.

Bulky as hell, but works well. I can often go 2-3 days without charging if I'm not heavily using it

Way to big and heavy to carry all day or to use as an everyday case. Should make one with 1/2 the power. It's very useful

unplugged my pixel 2 xl saturday morning at 6 am and didn't have to plug it in till thursday evening. great case.
