500g fast curing UV resinI use quite a lot of UV resin for a variety of projects so I’m always happy to try a new brand to see how it performs and I’m pretty please with this one.The bottles are foil sealed and came with screw on nozzle caps and an instruction & safety leaflet, the info is also on the bottles. There is no use by date like on some brands but I’ve never had UV resin go off so not sure how helpful a use by date is anyway.I did a couple of small test pieces using silicone moulds. The viscosity of the resin is good at room temperature (around 19c), thick enough to have a little control but flows well too and bubbles were easy to remove. When working with it in liquid form there is no odour and during curing there is a very slight odour but much less than a lot of UV resins I’ve worked with. It set quickly and without tackiness and I had very little shrinkage, but these were small moulds so on large pieces it might be more noticeable. They de-moulded easily and the cured resin is really hard with excellent shine and clarity. I will be running a test to see if the resin yellows when exposed to sunlight for an extended period but this takes time so will have to return to update this review, but so far This is a great product and with a decent price.

I've used a range of different UV resins, and this one has less odour than some I've used. As standard for the type of product, it comes in 2x 250g bottles with a flat screw cap, foil sealed with pouring nozzles included. The resin has a good viscosity for most purposes, was easy to remove bubbles with a heat gun, cured well and has a good finish.Price seems in line with other 500g packs. Very pleased.

This set of 500g of UV resin comes in two 250g bottles. This is better than one big bottle as they are easier to store in the craft cupboard, and less chance of one going off if open for awhile, if that can even happen to resin, I’m not sure?They come with a nozzle that makes pouring really easy, and keeps the end safe from UV light so no inadvertent hardening.I wanted to do a quick test and didn’t have time for a fancy attempt so I did a quick test of the resin surrounding an oak leaf I found. Pics are of it inside and outside.It poured nicely from the nozzle evenly, cured on one side with my little UV lamp in 120 seconds and then I repeated on the opposite side. I believe you can cure it with UV from the sun, it just takes a lot longer.I missed a bit however and it ended up uneven when I added a bit more. Totally my fault, not the resin.It cured fast and very clear, and I didn’t notice any real smell at all.This stiuff is great, if you have a UV lamp, the limitation are only those of your imagination. Given that I have 500g here, I’m looking everywhere for intersting things to encase!

I am new to resin so I was looking forward to receiving this 500g fast curing resin.First off I wanted to create some necklaces that I had designed with dried flowers and a bit of glitter.No mixing is required and full instructions are included.The finished result was crystal clear with no muddiness or dulling of colours. and no odours.I will definitely buy this brand in future!

Easy to work with, flows well, excellent clarity and cures nice and tough. I used a 395nm UV lamp for gel nails to cure it which worked perfectly, and a little isopropyl alcohol to clean up. Not too fumey either, I stayed by the window ready to open it if I needed it but regular air flow was enough for my small test job. I look forward to using it more!
