ComposiCast -3770 Urethane Resin 2 pounds

Thin and somewhat flat parts made with this product break easily. Larger items seem quite sturdy. Bubble formation seems to be less problematic with this product than with the alternatives I have tried. For larger, thick parts, this is my first choice urethane because it offers good value for money. For thin parts, I would not consider using it at all.

Tried using it twice with a composi mold and resulting cast was air bubbly and brittle, broke trying to remove from mold. Would not use again, waste of money.

As advertised, on time

I like it for the most part, but my main issue was that I was using it to cast more thin materials. Doesn't really hold up well and never seems to get THAT hard. But if you're casting a much thicker product, then it should be what you're looking for.

The product came well packaged and tightly sealed. It worked exactly as described and I was very satisfied with the result.I used it on the bottom of a canoe on the ends to toughen for landings - great product.

Returned product. It wasn't what I expected.

This was my first experience with ComposiCast.It mixes easily without any special equipment.I used this with plaster casts, silicone, and rubber molds.For the silicone and rubber molds, this worked perfectly.(I confess that even with substantial treatment, the plaster molds did not turn out. Even with Vaseline rubbed on the two halves of the plaster mold and the insides of the mold surface slathered with release, the sides fused together. I am assuming that this was operator error, i.e., it was entirely my fault.)The molds came out with beautiful detail. They dry to be an off-white in around 30 minutes. I was able to sand, score, and paint (with model and acrylic based paints) the molded items.In service,Rich
