Very good bulbs. Decided to upgrade all my hallogen. This is the third make I have tried and these worked perfectly with a straight swap with the old hallogen drivers in both my bathrooms straight out the box and no flickering at all. To test for hidden flickering I use the record video in slow motion function in the IPhone as this shows any extra strobing/flickering which your eyes can't see but your brain may feel it and these none of these lights suffered from this quite regular problem with cheap leds. Very bright and good enough colour for bathroom. Much cooler than hallogens but not blue cool either, just bright white lights. Probably the best balance of colour at 4000k for halogen bathroom/kitchen use. The wife says she can see her makeup much better with these then our old hallogens :) the one thing is a couple of my kitchen lights on a straight swap flickered a bit, so locked why as all the tests were ok, and seems that the two problem ones were on different transformer/drivers to the others and had a minimum wattage of 50 watts per driver. The ones that all worked show minimum 20 watt (and thus worked even with 6w which is great as only needed to replace 2 of 30 odd drivers). It costs about a fiver to buy any led specific transformer/drivers if some old drivers or very high minimium watt drivers don't like these bulbs and so easy to change. Just make sure your elecs are all off.

The media could not be loaded.  I have purchased these to replace a faulty set of LED lights that failed after 4 months. The previous LEDs were cool white so you had the white glow however these are quite Warm, I have included a photo of the light produced.So far so good, we will see how they perform in 1, 2 years time, hopefully they will last more than a few months.UPDATE 07/10/2017After 9 months one of the bulbs failed, started to flicker. Lucky they came in packs of 5 however I would suggest getting 2 X 3 if they fail this fast because it will make changing them much easier. I have uploaded a video of this. Since only 9 months have gone and one unit failed I am afraid that I will have to change my review to 1 star. Initially I was extremely happy as the bulbs looked like a well made product. I have the same units in other area purchased after this initial buy, let's hope the rest of them last longer.I tried to get a replacement however there is no way to do so via my account history. Contacting the seller to get a return under the 2 years warranty is impossible as no contact details are provided and returning it via Amazon is also not an option. I did get in touch with Amazon via call me back option and received a replacement pack directly from them. I am concerned of the 2 years warranty, how do you go about getting a replacement under that if after a few months the option of of doing so is no longer available?UPDATE Dec 2019:The bubls have failed yet again, so now I need to look for a replacement since I won't be able to match them:( that's 2 of them.

Despite claims that they work '...with all existing Electronic Transformers' - we have flickering on some units. So either this statement is incorrect, or the units are faulty? Guidelines say I'm not allowed to describe my seller experience - suffice to say, there is something that I could say.Aside from the inconvenience of this - it's really very difficult getting bulbs in and out of the ceiling units I have - so I really do not relish up/down - in/out problem-solving. I bought these as low energy options - but was also attracted by the longer life - which meant I didn't have to face the teeth grinding frustration of battling with the stupid fittings I have in my ceiling (I know - replace them - but that's just another cost).Maybe you'll have better luck (with your bulbs and getting help).

So, I purchased a few different sets of the L4U LED's and I'm not disappointed. A set for my ceiling (50w) a set of my shower (50w) and a set for around my bath (35w)Wow, if your planning to open up an airport and use these as landing lights then these are just the trick. I think I'm going to have to wear shades when I get a bath (although that may just be weird). I've used/purchased 9W LEDs in the past and naturally, due to the SMD makeup, these are actually brighter!Super bright is an understatement, had I realised I probably would have just stuck with the 35W ones for the ceiling.

The light is certainly bright and is ideal for our bathrooms. There was a small amount of flickering from two of the bulbs so, as they were plugged into a halogen driver, I purchased three LED drivers from Amazon. Installed those and flickering has gone. I would recommend changing from halogen drivers to led drivers. Can't comment about longevity or energy efficiency yet.

I have some flickering. I suspect the transformers. will amend the feedback depending on how the investigation goes
