Twinklette Mermaid, Shark or Whale Quilted Sleeping Bag Blanket for Nap Time and Slumber Parties

I love all the twinklette products. I own the orca whale blanket, the shark blanket, and their mermaid tail blanket.(1) It functions like a sleeping bag, where you just slide your body in. They're very big. I'm 6 feet tall and it reaches all the way to my waist, making it for a cool lap blanket. My son is 2 and he completely slides in and watches tv. My daughter is 9 months but she enjoys crusing in it too.(2) I love the inside pocket for stuffed animals, small toys, or a milk bottle.(3) The inside lining is fleece making it soft, warm, and cozy.(4) The attention to detail is great and when you get it you can visibly see the high quality and how great they're made. Both the orca whale blanket and shark blanket have dorsal fins (not sure if visible in the pictures).Personally, this is easily the best one on the market and worth every penny. I've had the mermaid tail for almost 1 year now and I've washed it in cold water and hung dry -- no problems at all!I intend to purchase more as Christmas gifts for my nieces and nephews.

Purchased this for my son who is two. We have annual passes to Sea World and he loves the Orca Whales. I was hesitant to purchase only because it was a little more then the other one's. However once it arrived I realized that the quality is far more superior. Very warm and the inside is soft. The outside material is as someone else mentioned similar to a sleeping bag. Another difference from the other's is my son can put his arms and legs into the whales find and wave around. The top part covers his head. When home he "swims" on the floor. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not impressed with the quality. Hasn't even been washed and the cheap poly material is already snagged up and pilling. Also the lining bunches up making it hard to slide into. My daughter has no interest in fighting to get into it. I spent twice as much because I was duped by how cute it is. Purchased a different brand at half the price for my other daughter and the quality and comfort is amazing.

We have the Orca and Shark blanket and love both. Our kids like to pretend to be fishes on the floor in their blankets. My seven-year-old fits into the Orca blanket and can almost completely disappear. She loves to put little trinkets into the secret pocket inside to hide them from her little brother. The blankets are warm and soft and washable which I appreciate! I also like how the kids can put their arms into the flippers and feet into the tail and make them move.

I really like this blanket although I think it's worth $50... I really like the fleece on the inside. I hope it last!

My kids love the shark and orca blankets! The inside is soft and fuzzy. I was happy to see that they could put their hands into the flippers and feet into the tail. My three-year-old was completely smitten with the shark blanket. While in the blanket he was pretending to eat everything- even daddy's foot. Such a great idea for cuddle time or play time.

Orginally got 2 Blanket tail blankets (another product) becaue they cost less, but BOTH had holes in the seams so I decided to purchase a diffrent brand mermaid blanket (Twinklette). So glad that we went with this one. Not only is it way better quality in the stiching, it is also in materials and design. Very happy and would highly recomend over Blanket Tails!
