The ultimate meccano set
The product arrived in two boxes, they both need more than one person to carry. The instructions are pictures with a few added notes, ignore them at your peril. No clear guidance on the instructions or on the parts for example which is top and which is bottom. I could go on, the product when erected is OK, it is let down badly by the instructions and parts not being labelled which side up, it is not sufficient just to have small stickers that tell which part is which. It does not come with a base you will need to build it, we went for paving slabs, you will need a dry, non windy couple of days at least. My suggestion to improve this product is label parts and send a DVD of it being erected. Lastly buy yourself a good screw driver you are going to need it !!!!!

huge like a garage but just what we needed.
we needed this huge shed as we have so much stuff or should I say my partner. Its really like a doris day shed really cosy and warm inside must better than a metal or wood definately worth its money.

Relive your childhood with middle-aged meccano
As a child I rather liked Lego and Meccano and would often spend hours using the aforementioned to imitate real-life objects such as cars, planes, steam engines etc etc. I suppose it follows therefore that as I progress into middle-age and all the riveting domestic activities it bestows, I should find myself with the slightly less entertaining, and possibly even less rewarding activity of assembling razor edged steel sheets, screws, washers, nuts, bolts and flimsy lengths of angle steel into something that attempts to imitate a 'grown-ups' garden shed.I purchased this in lieu of the common or garden wooden variety thinking that I would save many a future hour of my life with the absence of necessity to stain, preserve, re-roof or preform any other shed-based maintenance. Sadly my logic was flawed and any time saved in my latter life will be countered by the time erased erecting the shed in the first place. The instructions, which are 99% pictorial, are as helpful and accurate as a comedy pirate's treasure map. The assembly process frequently relies on the absence of gravity to enable long lengths of semi-rigid steel to remain vertically balanced whilst held only by a singular screw at the base.Sadly the phenomena of anti-gravity was not present on our chosen day of assembly and we had to find other means by which to combat accepted scientific principles. The build process, cited in the instructions as a mere couple of hours for 2 men clad in dungaree style overalls, requires at least 10. the second time around i'm sure this could be halved, but there never will be a second time around because given sound mind and body, you would evaluate the lost hours of your life and vow only to worship at the alter of wooden outbuildings and garden storage.Once assembled, you will be delighted at the 'natural lighting' afforded to you by the not insubstantial gaps under the ridge sheet and at the corners of the walls. Another excellent feature is the floors 'self-washing' facility, which occurs during rainfall. This most splendid addition to the shed's feature-rich attributes is made possible by the lack of any seal under the entrance ramp through which the doors slide. The same applies in-fact to base of all 4 walls. As mentioned by a previous review, silicone sealant is required, in spades.Contrary to the physical properties of each individual component, the sum is, in structural terms at least, greater than the parts, and the shed is remarkably rigid. Having emptied several tubes of builders sealant into its pits and flaws it does perform the function as intended, although unlike with the wooden counterparts, you have to think twice before hammering a nail into the wall to hang your trowel on.Once complete, load the shed up with garden paraphernalia and retreat to your nearest first aid kit where you will exhaust the supply of sticky plasters sealing the lacerations in your hands and fingers. ('1' pairs of cotton gloves were provided (one glove for each person?), were tested for effectiveness and then were immediately disposed of in an ecologically sound manner). If you are reading this review after having purchased and assembled this shed yourself, in a vague attempt to affirm that your childhood Meccano assembly skills have not been irrevocably misplaced, or that your ability to read and carry out written instructions is not impaired by early onset dementia, then take comfort my friend, all is well and you are not alone. If you are reading this and considering purchasing this magical time erasing, gravity defying garden grotto for your own assorted soil-meddling implements, I recommend you browse Amazon for similar metallic sheds and take heed.Made in France

The shed once finished is adequate and does the job.
The shed is fine once finished but as stated by other people who have reviewed this shed, the instructions are very poor and this makes putting the shed together difficult, frustrating and very unnecessarily time consuming.

Scratched, flimsy, leaks, bad service.
The finished shed is very nice to look at...HOWEVER... the design feature of using pre-drilled holes on the base rail just simply lets the water in.The 6 hour construction time is hopeful at best, and I'm a joiner well used to following instructions and reading diagrams! The doors and four of the panels were badly scratched, this is down to the way its packaged with nothing separating the metal sheets, its inevitable that the panels will slide about on top of each other. The customer care from Yardmaster has been nothing short of appalling, after many emails we've been sent 1 tiny pot of dark brown paint to rectify the scratches (not much use for the light panels is it?!)Incredibly disappointing, avoid like the plague folks.
