Excellent manual for all teddy bear repair. I have been looking for this book for awhile. It must be out of print. Great pictures and details.

I don't actually restore teddy bears (at least, not yet, thankfully), but this book opened up a whole new appreciation for me in the craftsmanship and nuanced details that go into a masterful teddy bear. I bought this book to research how teddy bears were made for a story about an antique teddy bear. But I came away with a much deeper appreciation of the archetype that was discovered and perfected over a century ago. I think it's fair to say the teddy bear has remained in the same sublime state to the degree in which the original form and construction is followed.

I have many books on how to make teddy bears and I bought this one to tell how to take care of them. From dusting them to repairing some of the old Steiff bears and cats that I have. This book is very helpful with great hints to make sure that yard sale find does not infest the rest of a collection. The pictures are great, old stuffed friends brought back to life. Even a treasured friend chewed up by Rover is not the end, this book shows how to bring him back from the brink. For that stuffie who has has lots of love or the Collection that you want to keep looking good this book has the help you need.

THIS BOOK IS QUITE USEFUL AS A REFERENCE IN RESTORING TEDDIES.

I found the book helpful with many nice photographs, showing a variety of materials and great before and afters of little treasures that needed to be restored. A good book for beginners.

Beary Useful Book!!! Restored a venerable bear a few years ago and have been getting ready t restore another. This book shows how to do it properly and respectfully. Super resource for restorer or maker!!!

Don't throw away an old Teddy Bear! We all need a little "patching" as we age! This book has a lot of information and helpful instructions. Not everything is here, but a really good start!

Clear, easy to understand with great photos. It is exactly what I was looking for to further my skills and knowledge to repair and maintain teddy bears and other stuffed animals.

Terrific book devoted to the care of your treasured teddy bears, easy to read and understand and written in lovely language. You will love this book.

Great book. Lots of clear instructions and beautiful pictures. A real must have if you are getting in to restoration.
