Package contents: x1 Wireless optical mouse, x1 nano usb receiver. Uses 1 AA battery that is not included. Installation Instruction: 1. Open the battery cover by pushing it out (away from yourself) and lifting up 2. Take out the nano usb receiver and plug it into the usb port, then put the batteries inside the mouse 3. Close the battery cover by sliding it into the right spot, then press down and push it in (toward yourself) to close it tightly 4. Updated Windows/OS should automatically detect and install the 2.4ghz driver needed to run the mouse 5. Restarting the computer may/may not be necessary 6. Have fun clicking your new mouse! Quality control is our top priority, each mouse is tested to be 100% functional before we send it out. If your mouse is not working, please make sure Windows/OS is up to date.

I have to slam it down on the desk in order for it to work seems like it has a short or something so I have up on it. The picture of Hello Kitty is pretty though
