Out of the box seems to be very reliable, sturdy, and looks like it will do the job when it comes time, it has a very strong suction, beware this thing is big I like it, the job I am going to use this for it to remove the differential fluid out of my trucks read end without breaking the seal of the dif cover.

One of the handiest things you didn't know you needed
These little suction guns are great to pull out small amounts of automotive fluids such as brake, power steering, coolant, etc. that you might need to get out before taking something apart.I have been using a metal one for years, made almost like a grease gun, but you loose about half your stroke when extracting fluids. This one should be much better, has double rings and good tight fit in the bore. I actually couldn't stroke it at first, had to screw the rear cap off to offset the piston to get it moving. This was only due to the o-rings not being well lubed and taking a set to the bore. Not a fault of the product at all.Includes 2 "straws" each is about 8 inches long with caps and a connector to make one longer one. The extractor is pretty large, similar in size to a full size grease gun. The "straws" are connected with a decent looking "push to connect" fitting which should make it much easer to remove them than the old style hose barbs.Good product I expect to get much use out of.

Performs Well
It does everything it should. The only drawback is the coupler between the two different suction tubes. Once there is oil on the coupler the tubes tend to separate. Works very well other than that.

Nice tool.
These are great for extracting fluids from different systems on your vehicles. When extracting, you won't be able to get a full stroke out of it since air will expand to fill the space to a point. Another purpose for this tool is to push fluid into certain systems like a manual transmission or front/rear differential. The push to connect fitting is nice to have to help keep things clean or for storage.
