The crystals ask for 1-2 week to adapt to the environment when you received it. It had the best results with this indoors close to a window. Please don’t put it in the place exposed to direct sunlight or in front of air conditioner. Its not 100% accurate but defiantly does change from time to time. Instruction manual explains how to figure out the crystals means, here is a synopsis: Snow: The crystalline structures grows like a feather sunny day and summer: The crystalline structures will precipitate to the bottom of the bottle Rain and cloudy days: The crystalline structures will float (change is subtle, not obvious) NOTE: It can not as precise as weather broadcast, it is mainly used as a beautiful glass artwork with the Simply weather forecast. Because the indoor Air Conditioner or Heater or constant temperature conditions will affect it changes or no change.
