Review: Brilliant tape - strong & waterproof - Repaired a gazebo that had been eaten by mice. Having used in the past I’m confident of its waterproofing and strength. Easy to apply. Unlike a lot of tape it doesn’t stick to itself as soon as you cut off a bit. Beware the grey is more like a shade of blue.
Review: Brilliant repair tape! - Our friends asked us to store their kids kites in our loft for them when they were moving so they had toys to play with when they came back to the area, well recently they said that the kids didn't want them any more so my OH got them down. They were a bit ripped but such pretty kites (those huge ones from Costco a while back) that he wanted to repair them as they might be useful for some of the kids in our street to use. We were originally going to use puncture kits for bikes but I saw this on desertcart and they had the exact same colour available for delivery the next day, so ordered it. Arrived and took it out the packaging. The blue is identical to the blue on the kite where it's ripped so all we've had to do is cut a piece to fit (we cut two pieces of the same size) put one across the rip and one across the underside of the rip. Now although you can see it's there the way we've cut it, looks like it just blends in with the kite. The repair tape is super strong and sticky so it's easy to patch up and allows you to quickly repair something. Totally love it. Well worth buying.

**Q: I have a rip in my canvas bell tent between the groundsheet and zip, would this fix it? Thanks**
A: Hi there, I think it would hold during a single trip if you taped both sides of the rip but I do not think this would be a long term solution as the tape is just not that durable but would work for a quick fix I suspect.  Stronger tapes like the Gorilla Tape would be a more durable solution (although i think it only comes in black) although I suspect the best option would be a tent/ groundsheet patch kit that comes with most tents these days but if you haven't got one then most camping stores should be able to help you out with one. They are only cheap and I have had to use them before and they make an almost invisible patch which is waterproof.

A: hello, yes i think you could use it to repair a kite, it is very light but very strong too.regardsbayside marine

**Q: Could this be attached on both sides of a rip and then sewn on top off?**
A: Certainly worth sticking the repair tape onto both sides for additional strength. You shouldn't need to stitch as well if applied properly as it may compromise the material in terms of waterproofing and strength although you haven't stated what the repair is. MCRltd

**Q: Is this tape abrasion resistant please? Need to repair a caravan cover and the tape will need to stand up to rubbing**
A: Hi Chris died in June. I am his wife and will try and answer the question. We used the tape on our caravan cover. It seemed very strong but not sure how much abrasion it could take.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Repair required to Gazebo

Gazebo damaged by mice in the spring. Not easy to get a good finish on a corner, but repair seems to be effective, time will tell. Colour match (dark blue) reasonable, and damaged area's not obvious when erected. Tape appears to be strong enough for the repair and no stitching required.
