I would not recommend it. **Q: Can this be applied/used on a plastic preformed pond?** A: I would have thought that it is perfectly possible to use on a plastic preformed pond, but only as a decorative finish to colour it black. It will not seal any leak or split in the pond as that would be structural. It is for sealing a rendered mortar surface primarily. **Q: Can i apply this directly to mdf wood?** A: I used it on wooden barrel to make small pond it worked okay **Q: Hi i am building a waterfall with a nature pond at the top could this paint be used instead of a liner straight onto concrete and rocks thanks in adv** A: as long as you have a watertight seal between the rocks and concrete with will be fine.
