Inomata Japanese Soap Case with Lid Leaf Series White

A GREAT soap dish.Leaf branded plastic items have always used high quality plastics which don't break or crack easily.It can be considered a tad oversized for a lot of standard sized bar soaps, but it actually fit the Lava soap blocks perfectly.I'm leaving it in the garage so I can clean my grimy hands before heading back inside my home. The lid prevents the soap from getting dirty between uses.To those who gave it less than 5-stars:Yes, I agree that more pictures of the product would have been helpful. However, there is a LARGE and OBVIOUS drainage groove in the middle of the soap dish, which helps water drain (keeps your soap from being dissolved). So if you tried to pack a wet bar of soap, in this soap dish, into your suitcase, and is complaining that it got your clothes wet and soapy, you have only yourself to blame!Know what you're buying and using - this is a very well made soap dish with a lid.... NOT a traveling soap box! The item description even says "it has a gap in the bottom to keep soap dry**", so if you misused the product, or didn't read the description before you bought it, and is disappointed: again - you have only yourself to blame!

It seems to be harder to find this style of soap dish anymore. One that allows water to drain when in use yet can be covered to protect against dust or accidental splashing. This one is solidly built with sturdy plastic and should fit any size soap. Glad I found this.

A hole on the bottom? Why??

This is a fine plastic soap dish for home if that is what you are looking for, but I was led to believe it was a travel case and it has neither a clasp to keep it closed nor is it sealed. In fact it has a drain slot at the bottom making it useless for my gym bag.

Works very well, drains completely and protects soap effectively. Also easy to clean. I can't think of anything else to ask for.

Very specific design allows water to drain from bottom, top keeps water away from soap. Not for travel.

Its just a soap dish. Why do you need so many words to describe it. It does what it is supposed to do
