Avohass Kenya Extra Virgin Avocado Oil 2 Bottle Case

This is high quality extra virgin avocado oil pressed from the fresh "flesh" of the fruit. With that in mind, it has a really STRONG flavor that does not mix well with many dishes. I can only use a little bit in a salad or it overpowers the entire flavor. Cooking onions with it is a good combo, as well as mushrooms. But you need to experiment because it's just such a unique and strong flavor.I have had better tasting extra virgin avocado oils in the past, if my memory serves me correctly. However I appreciate that it's from small farms in Kenya and therefore is very fresh and organic, even without the "organic" label.

I've had a few different brands of AO, But this is the best. I put it in my fruit, vegetable, fat and protein shakes. Mixed with cacao, chocolate peanutbutter and the AO, it makes them taste heavenly. The shipping is always fast and they take great care in packaging the bottles so that there is minimal probability of leaking. About the only issue is that avocado oil prices seems to fluctuate wildly. I paid over 60% more on this order than on ones earlier this year. This seems to be the case concerning any brand I've seen on Amazon, though.

I ordered this because I had a recipe I wanted to try that needed avocado oil -- an ingredient I had never used, though I love avocados in general. Two bottles came right on time, and the product itself is delicious -- can be substituted for olive oil for dipping bread, or used as an oil to sauté things in -- not sure of the smoke point, but the flavor is first-rate and very pure tasting.

This oil is smooth, mild with a gentle aroma that enhances the flavor of meats, vegetables, omelettes, salads or whatever you choose. It holds its own in bowl , skillet or wok.

Absolutely beautiful green tint. This oil has a wonderful nutty taste. It has added a whole new depth of flavor to everything I have used it for. So far that includes mayonnaise, ranch veggie dip, and several vinaigrettes. Pricey, but very well worth the money. This will be a staple in my household!

Love love love this brand. The color is greenish because it's not refined. The taste and smell is excellent. This will be my go to brand.

Based on the good reviews, I bought the 2 pack of this avocado oil. I expected it would be nicer than the last brand I bought (starts with a T, nice can) which I was happy with. I saw some not so good reviews on it and thought I was making a step up with this product. I am sorely disappointed. It is darker, stronger tasting and smell is uninviting for eating or use on skin. Both of which I used the other brand for. Because it is a grocery item it is not returnable.
