Packaged with care.
The leaves are a good size, not one ripped or crumbled, and come in a nice resealable pouch I can set neatly on my tank shelf. Perfect purchase for me. I just boil a few in water then bottle the tea so I can pour it in my tank when needed and it works great. Buy these with confidence.

Very useful, Very big
Size: The medium ones are pretty gigantic, the size of an adult hand, so be prepared. In a 30 gallon tank, they'll be pretty good, but anything smaller and you might have to just cut them into smaller bits. They're leathery, so they cut easily with a cleaned pair of scissors.Oak Leaves Instead? I've heard of people using oak leaves in areas where they are 100% sure there is no risk of pesticides, fungicides, fungus, parasites or other problems that can invade a tank and kill all your fish. Some breeders have used them for years with no report of problems. Use at your own risk. I find oak leaves do not smell sweet like these do either and am not sure I should expose my species of fish to those. Catappa's are most like the leaves from the continent's region my fish are from. If you're certain your oak leaves are risk-free, yes, they are said by breeders to work just the same as catappas. Myself, I can't put my pets at risk if something sneaks in.Stained Water? Mine did not stain the water of my 10 or 20 gallon like some say they do. Maybe that's just because it's already tinted from all the greenery inside? In a natural-looking tank, these will only compliment appearances.Sinking Them: Don't boil them to force them to sink, as you're removing valuable nutrients you threw your money at to get! Let them take up your tank water and sink naturally. They'll become a valuable part of your tank's natural filter. You can also just let them deteriorate into your tank. This does not harm your fish, because you're doing your regular water changes. Remove any unwanted debris once they break down fully if you prefer, but they act the same as wood ornaments even if not as pretty once a full skeleton.Food: These are great food for at least plecos, otocinclus, snails and shrimp once developed enough to sink. The filter slimecoat they'll get will sustain your picking and sucking pets, but I've also seen my minnows peck at them sometimes.I recommend these for any freshwater tank looking to replicate a forest pond, stream or lake.

I like Sun Glow Betta Bed leaves more
I purchased these because they weren't as expensive as the Sun Glow Betta Bed leaves. I don't think these are the same kind of leaf because they turned my water too dark too fast and they didn't last as long. I hope that a smaller amount will achieve the same results as I only have a 5 gal. aquarium and the directions for 1 leaf is for 50 gallons. These don't have suction cups either. Other than that these leaves are a miracle cure for a sick Betta

Great product!
Great product! They gave me the xl size when I ordered the 5"to 7"inch which was awesome! Also leaves where in great condition. They release a ton of tannins like I wanted. Fish have respond great to these leaves. Did drop pH a bit at first in my guppy tank which has a crush coral sub strait but lower pH causes calcium ions to release in water so hardness is perfect now. I recommend this company, gave me a good product and a free upgrade.

Great leaves
I tear them up and make tea (just shy of boiling water), once cooled it all gets dumped in tanks. Instant benefits as I'm too impatient waiting for them to release tannins and sink on their own plus I control the amount of color. Assorted tetras seem to love the stained water (they swim all levels of tank) in 1 tank, betta's fins healthy in another tank and snails and otos love to munch on the broken down leaves in yet another tank.
