The gold is notorious for scratching easily, if you even look at it the wrong way it gets marked.I looked online for the best way to remove the scratches and the general consensus was not to bother. That didn’t fly with me, so a bit more research and I came across the Cape Cod cloths. Wow is all I can say.I wish I had taken a before photo, but I wasn’t holding my breath for a good result to be honest. My watch had a lot of micro scratches from general wear. It had no lustre or shine, and the metal looked very flat. I spent an hour going over the bracelet with this (work in straight lines in one direction) and it has come up like the day I first bought it. The video quality isn’t the greatest on Amazon reviews but it looks almost flawless now. I could still spend a little more time refining it but as it will get scratched again it’s good enough how it is. Doing this every few months is well worth it in my opinion.
