Worth Its Weight in Gold & Then Some: Why This is my First Amazon.com Review EVER
Dear Jason Surfrapp,I am a great admirer of your book. This was by FAR, one of the absolute best purchases I have ever made. I am not joking. As weird as it seems to click away on my keyboard and type such a bold, profound sentence, it was 100% true.Dear Potential Customer,There is a reason this book has 62 reviews so far and ALL HAVE BEEN 5 STARS. Jason elicits personal stories of success and failure in a personal way as he details his creative business. This is an inspiring read, certainly ranking in one of the top 5 best books I have ever read. And as a college senior, with an Emphasis in Rhetoric, I can reassure you I have read my fair share of books. Here is the breakdown:1.I FEEL liberated and INSPIRED right now...I just finished the last page 10 minutes ago and haven't been able to put this bad boy down since I unwrapped it a couple days ago.2. I have 30+ bullet points of practical information in the back of this book with awesome insight from Jason.3. Jason is a marketing genius...BECAUSE I also have 27 page numbers listed on the inside of the book in reference for me to check very soon. For those who may not be aware, Jason received a sponsor for every page and 75K in the process. That means I will be visiting 27 businesses I found awesome because Jason had the genius to fund raise via marketing.IN SUM: , I have the 1. inspiration and 2.knowledge to put my small business dream to use...& 3. I have some businesses to look into further in my spare time.

Do Yourself a Favor and Read This Book. You'll Come Away With a Lot of Extremely Helpful Advice/Information
If you are at a crossroads in your life, this is the perfect book to pick up! I've been unhappy in my career for a long time and I know I'm not doing what I'm meant to be doing. The passion is gone. I'm not kidding you when I tell you that within the first half hour of reading this book, I was inspired with an idea. And I got excited! I hadn't felt like this in a LOOOOOOONG time. Jason's words were just what I needed to read. The way he writes, it feels like he's sitting on the couch next to you having a great conversation. Everything he tells you about how to become an entrepreneur and thinking outside the box made perfect sense. Nothing will be over your head. I took 8 pages of notes and couldn't put the book down. I read it in the first 48 hours I had it! There is so much good information in here and personal stories to tie it all together. You'll walk away feeling inspired and like you learned something valuable.I have a much clearer idea of what I want to do and how to go about it. I can't wait to get going!Oh, the sponsors on each page of the book...I didn't mind them because they aren't over-bearing. I'll probably end up checking out a bunch of them. Pretty clever idea, if I don't say so myself.

Excellent writing and Innovative Way to Publish
The dirty secret in the world of publishing is 99% of the books never make money and most only sell a few copies. Jason knew this reality and decided that his book would be profitable. So in normal iwearyourshirt fashion, he flipped the world of publishing and decided to make $75k before he wrote a word of the book. Not a bad day at the office. With all of that said, you can tell Jason poured out his soul into this book. I could tell you how much I like the book (except for some parts that were elementary but I understood his logic) and on the whole, it was one of those page turners that you have trouble putting down. I finished the book within about a 10 hour span and it is normally hard to keep my that interested. They say put your money where you mouth is so I liked the book enough to just order 16 copies from Amazon for people at my business and business associates. I think that goes much farther than being verbose. If you start running into sections (especially all of Chapter 12) that seem elementary, skip to the next section and it will speed your reading of the book and your enjoyment but don't skip the little ads at the bottom. Some are funny, some are creative, and many gave me some helpful resources. Nothing is plain about Jason and we can only guess what his next last name will be.Clark Stevenson

Enough people have talked about the great marketing, business
So i may have been living under a rock for the past 5 years but i had never heard of iwearyourshirt or Jason at all until just recently in a podcast interview on a different platform. Enough people have talked about the great marketing, business, and tech tips that he writes about. They truly are valuable. But this book is a lot more than that. What I appreciate most about this book and Jason is that he has great advice that has obviously worked, but in a landscape of millions of business books he doesn't take himself too seriously nor claim that he's got everything figured out. He relates his experiences both good and bad in an extremely human way. I value this book even more because he takes the time to talk about harnessing the creativity we all have into something that is meaningful to us, that answers an internal "why", whatever that may be. it's inspiring and helpful and a sign of great things to come from him down the road. HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone.

Inspiration for every entrepreneur.
A great break from the stuffy leadership and success books out there! Let's face it, we do need a certain amount of foundational knowledge from Harvard and their case studies to climb the societal ladder, but at the end of the day, entrepreneurs succeed or fail based on their personal hunger and passion. Jason does a great job leading us through [what should be] expectations of all entrepreneurs: only hard work and time lead to fame and fortune. Randy Pausch said "brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough" - and Jason doesn't shy away from revealing his own brick walls. Some launch a website and F5 Google Analytics till the cows come home - with the common mentality of "if you build it they will come." Jason on the other hand uses innovative thinking to constantly drive forward; a lesson we should all take note. Will reference this fun read frequently when I hit my own brick walls.Do yourself a favor and save a spot on your bookshelf.

This was really great. Jason has an easy-to-read writing style that gets the message across but is entertaining as well. I really enjoyed the way he looks outside the box, and the way he shows that you have to follow your passion and not get stuck in a job you hate. great work Jason!
