Plastic but sturdy
I installed the 12"ร12" size. I needed to create access to the pump of our jacuzzi tub. These access door panels work perfectly. They are plastic but sturdy

Perfect fit
I love this access panel. I used two under my bathroom sink to have access to water shut offs. It was the exact dimensions listed. Installation was easy I simply cut the hole and popped them into place. I donโt know that the โinsulationโ is going to do much to help, but they look clean and neat, and give easy access. To open door you need a screw driver to pop it open, and it closes nice and tight so it wonโt open on its own.

These are good access panels
Hey, yea so I got a few of these access panels for my project. Installation was easy, just have to think a little bit, but I would like to think most folks can handle tracing a cut out of the required size opening for installation. The insulated door is a nice feature for my application as these were installed on an exterior wall that concealed some plumbing in a finished basement. These panels provided a solid value for the money and more than adequate accessibility to the plumbing in the event that some time in the future there is a need to service that plumbing.... knock on wood we don't.... right?

Worth the $50!
Looks good, easy to install, only required 1 coat of paint. Opening it requires a screwdriver. The insulation is the perfect thickness. The panel is strong and thin enough to blend into the wall. Here are photos of the hole to access tub plumbing without the panel, with the panel, and with the panel painted.

Perfect Fit
I used this on a hole in my drywall that was already made by a plumber. He had cut a hole 8" by 9" and I didn't want to make the hole any larger. Because of the outside measurements of this panel, it fit perfectly.

Love it
Love this thing. The original was just drywall screwed into the wall and this thing not only keeps my room cooler but also keeps the humidity out and it looks so much better than the drywall.

Sturdy, convenient access panel โ perfect for cable and antenna routing
I installed this 8 ร 8 inch insulated access panel to manage my Internet cable, ham antenna coax, and grounding connections inside a finished wall, and itโs been a great solution. The panel fits neatly into drywall, provides solid access to the behind-the-wall wiring, and feels much sturdier than the cheap plastic covers Iโve used in the past. The insulated door is a nice touch โ it helps reduce drafts and adds a bit of sound isolation around the utility area without being bulky. The latch closes securely and stays flush with the wall, so it doesnโt stick out or look out of place. I can easily open it when I need to check the cables or add connections, which is ideal for antenna tuning days or network changes. Pros: โ Easy to install and fits standard drywall openings โ Solid construction with insulation โ helps reduce drafts โ Door stays closed and flush when latched โ Great access for coax, grounding, and data cables โ Useful for ham, network, and utility access without patching drywall every time Cons: โ ๏ธ A slightly larger size option would be nice for more complex cable bundles, but 8 ร 8 inch is fine for most projects Overall, this access panel is a simple, well-built solution that keeps my wiring accessible and tidy. Highly recommended if you need regular access behind walls for antenna coax, network cables, or grounding work.

Good value and exactly as described
It arrived in good condition and measurements as described. It is reasonably good quality: fairly thick rigid plastic yet still very light and easy to work with. Installed on ceiling no issues. Good value except the plastic hinge mechanism snapped off at one end after installation, though it still functions just fine without it. Giving 4 stars rather than 5 due to construction of hinge.

Decent
All plastic but much better than the old steel one. I should be able to use caulking to mount it. (Or silicone adhesive or PL)
