Gives clear and concise instructions for creating your own patterns. Great series. I bought them all and I adore the way the information is presented.

I was very disappointed in this book. The instructions were very scant and there is only 1 sample pattern in the book. All instructions are based on weight. You weigh the yarn after each step and then proceed. Nothing in the book about how to add stitch patterns. I would not recommend this.

Bought the book as I am wanting to upgrade my knitting skills. Like the page layouts and detailed pictures of the shawls.
