Slight concave upward.
Good quality. Not leveled flat bottom surface. It’s concave very slightly enough where it doesn’t touch. I mention this because my stove is glass top . Glass top stoves work at maximum efficiency when pans or pots make full contact on surface. Other than that no issues.

Very Good
This is advertised as a pizza pan, and it is a very good size for that purpose, but is also the perfect size for my use as a griddle. It fits my large induction eye perfectly and after preheating, provides constant temps all over the pan – just pre heat it slowly. I have also tested it on a 7-3/4 induction eye. In this case, preheat it more slowly. The temp at the edges will be less than over the eye, but it will be close enough for cooking if you are careful. These cooking characteristics are because the pan is very thick cast iron. It’s at least as heavy and as well made as Lodge, the quality standard. The pan is very flat so any cooking oil doesn’t run to the edge unless the stove isn’t level. The surface is very similar to the Lodge surface – not really smooth, but just like the Lodge, that doesn’t prevent you from making the pan non-stick with proper seasoning. The instructions that come with the pan are very sparse and of little use, but the pan does come “pre seasoned” they say. The pre-seasoning protects the pan from rust before use, but is of very poor quality for cooking. As the pan approaches 400F with the factory pre-seasoning, a large amount of smoke arises and will most likely set off your smoke alarm. Just reduce the heat below the smoking point and heat for about 20 minutes. Then season it properly, and you are good to go. If you handle cleanup properly, the seasoning will improve the more you cook with the pan. If you handle clean improperly, you will have a disaster. After proper seasoning on day one, I have cooked bacon, grilled cheese and ham sandwiches, and medium turned over fried eggs. Nothing stuck!I like this pan so well that I bought another one for my RV.

This cast iron Pizza Pan is perfect for me
This cast iron Pizza Pan is perfect for me. It fits in my 6 slice toaster oven. The handles are just the right size to fit sideways by taking up the extra room in the corners for the handles and still able to close the door. My toaster oven is made to fit a 12" pizza pan. This Cast Iron pan bakes the pizza just as if it were on my Pizza stone. The same rich crust and flavor without the risk of a Pizza stone breaking and the ugly stains that go along with a pizza stone. The handles on my Waykea Cast Iron Pizza pan help me safely take the pizza out of the oven and slides off, or you can cut it right in the pan. If you really want a non-stick surface you can also use a Silicone baking mat (don't cut it in the pan then) and cleanup is a snap. Couldn't be more pleased. Best Pizza I have ever made. God-bye Pizza stone!

Great size and easy to clean
This is a great cast iron griddle. We use it so much we keep it on the stove all the time. It is a perfect size for so many things!Update 12//18/19***Still used almost daily and has a permanent space on my “favorite” burner.

Great on boat grill!
This is the BEST product for healthy eating! We bought it to use on our boat--but thinking we need another one for home! We have a Magma round grill--the hinged lid doesn't close completely but it still works like a champ. I cured it with avocado oil at home twice (used the enclosed directions). We have cooked veggies, ground chicken, flatbread pizzas, hashbrown potatoes, and halibut in parchment paper. LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I shared on our boating club website how much I love it and some have already ordered it for their boating vacations this summer. SIX STARS! ❇❇❇❇❇❇

If you like rust-flavored pizza, buy this product!
After 3 or 4 uses, followed by washing with detergent and a sponge, my sponges started turning black. Then the pan began to rust. The picture should speak for itself.

I love cast iron
We have made pizza several times with this pan and it works so great. I read somewhere that you get the pan up to temperature, before you put the crust on it. I make my crust from scratch and there is no sticking. The crust is perfect every time. I've bought many cast iron pans and this is one of my favorites:)
