I purchased other speaker mounts on Amazon about a year ago. They were about $5 cheaper (price was not the primary factor in buying mounts, but I wasn't going to spend more than $50 if possible). I installed the ones bought previously and was happy with them for a while. But then the plastic adjustment mechanism began to lose it's ability to be fully tightened and as a result the speakers sagged and would not stay in the position I wanted them in. So I purchased these Borenbuir mounts due to the ratings and the fact that they are metal. These mounts are very good. Very sturdy and well engineered. Everything works as it should. Word of caution. No matter what mounts you buy, expect to have to do some tinkering. It is very likely that you will find yourself having to make a trip to Lowes to get some other hardware to customize the mounts so that they attach to your speakers in a way that is desirable to you. You may need another size screw and/or washers etc. so that you can attach the mount plate to your specific speakers. Lowes (or Home Depot or Menards or your local hardware store) will likely have everything you will need to get these mounts to work for your application. There is no universal mount that will fit every speaker/installation scenario. For my install, I needed small washers, plastic spacers and screws that were the length and size that were appropriate to mount my speakers to the mounting plate. Once I was done tinkering, I got them configured to my liking and attached them to the wall. The result is outstanding. They enable me to have the speakers mounted to the wall, clearing desk space clutter and they are easily adjusted. Because they are all metal (except for the tightening knob), they are very sturdy and I am optimistic that they will be around longer than I will. I feel the price/value is very good. If you are up for tinkering to get them to work for your specific application, I think you too will be happy with these mounts.

I own a Logitech Z-906, 5.1 true surround sound speaker set. Each of the satellite speakers weighs about 2 lbs (about 1 kg). I need some decent, all-metal speaker stands that offer full 4 DOF adjustment so that I can position the speakers for the best 5.1 surround sound. These all-metal speaker wall mounts checked all boxes and come with plenty of screws and bolts for various options. The wall mounts also come with a nice instruction manual. For me, they are working great. Five stars!

These turned out to be nice mounts for my surround speakers. Very straightforward and easy to use. However, I need to caution anyone attempting to use the drywall inserts. The screws are made of cheap pot metal and will easily snap. I had the head come off one of the screws before I even got the speaker mounted. Thank goodness that happened during installation and not after hanging to speaker. Get heavy duty drywall anchors or, better yet, heavy screws to go into the studs.

These all-metal speaker mounts were perfect for my Polk audio speakers that are 12 pounds each. The mounts were easy to attach to the wall, though I chose to use metal screw anchors (for drywall) instead of the provided anchors. The mounts are sturdy and easy to adjust. The mounts do a great job of keeping the speaker positioned in the desired direction.

The hardware that comes with these failed me on the first one I installed so I ended up using my own hardware. The mounting brackets are nice and strong so that's why I gave them 3 stars. I ordered 4 of these to put up Dolby Atmos speakers for my surround set up.

I have 4 klipsch dolby atmospheres speakers that I want to wall mount. I need to anchor them to the wall and then move the brackets around until they are positioned correctly - I need horizontal and vertical rotational movement and these supply that . They are very well built and were easy to install, although I took them apart, attached the base to the wall, attached the other end to the speakers, then connected them. They are a good fit for my speakers (12" long) and are a great value vs all the others I looked at.

I need to send these mounts back. There are too big for me. Please give me instructions on what to do in sending them back. Also, the faucet that I ordered is also have to come back. It is not what I need.
