It barely holds my Note3 in the otterbox case. The case has to be wedged in there. I've used it about 10 times and it did come off the mount twice while riding over some really rough terrain.

Worked great at first, and then after a few rough rides, it kept falling off the mount despite being secured as directed. Would be fine for smooth rides, but if you encounter lots of rougher streets and sidewalks as I do, this isn't a good choice.

My iphone7 was too small for the case. It moved around and caused the touch not to work well.

I wish that the space was a little bigger because on the inside so that I don't have to struggle taking out the whole it's charging (note 8)
