Fixed a benign skin issue
I had a pyogenic granuloma on the tip of my pinky finger after pricking it with a fishing hook. It is a sort of scaring but where you end up with a growing blister of blood, nothing life threatening but unsightly, uncomfortable and tends to bleed. My Dr did use silver nitrate to treat it, which seemed to work but it came back bigger. I figured I could use the same stick my Dr use but for much less than my copay and allowed me to avoid seeing a hand surgeon. This turned the skin black on the area I applied the stick, but caused no pain. A few days later I was able to peel off the dead skin and the granuloma got smaller. After 2-3 times the granuloma peeled off and my fingertip has no trace of ever been injured now.

Canker Sore solution
I just use this on my canker sore. it hurts the same amount as if you put salt on a canker sore. However, the pain does go away and then you’re just left with dead skin that flakes off over the course of a day~ish. It looks black and then white after using it because it’s killing the tissue. I think overall it’s worth it because you’re speeding up the process of healing. Instead of waiting a week for her to heal your kind of just frontloading the pain and irritation and everything to just be taken care of much More quickly.

Helpful for canker sores
I use these for my canker sores. I learned a few things very quickly:- Don't use them on the same area more than once. You will usually make a problem worse than the canker sore.- Don't use them on the top of your tongue. It works ok on the bottom, but using it near the taste buds usually makes things worse.- Be very careful when applying - you definitely don't want to put this on the gums or near the teeth. A very light touch is all it takes to kill off the top layer of cells. For ones I get in the back, I don't use these since I wouldn't be able to apply cleanly.

Burns skin! Don't buy!!!!
Terrible! Do NOT buy! I had a large canker sore in my mouth for over a week. I had ordered these and by the time they arrived my canker sore was almost gone. Silly me thought I could speed along the healing process with one of these match-like sticks. NO! Do not try this! It came with zero directions, so I gently placed it on my canker sore area. It completely burned my skin, very painful, tastes like I chewed on a Tesla battery (still the next day) and my canker sore is now a burned hole, swollen, and has spread to my cheek. It also burned my finger from where I touched it, just to get it out of the bag. My finger and nail are black. Please DO NOT buy these. Whatever pain you have from your canker sore is not as bad as this. The next day I still have a lithium battery taste in my mouth, swollen gums and cheek, and I made my canker sore much worse. These should not be sold over the counter! Kids should not have access to these. Dangerous!

No instructions. Here are a few tips.
No instructions. Had to google how to activate with distilled water. Would recommend applying Vaseline around the treatment area BEFORE applying stick to prevent surrounding skin from burning. Neutralize the silver nitrate with saline solution if spreads beyond intended area. Apply sticks gradually to prevent burning. It may appear that it is not working. Be patient during application.
