ArdellBeauty Pro Eyeshadow Palette, Matte

I don't really understand how this got such good reviews. First of all it came really late. I wouldn't mind waiting but get a good product. It's not even average. Is actually one of the worst eyeshadow pallete I've ever tried. Such a lack of pigment. and the dark colours look like you're dirty when you wear them.

Excellent value for money, a range of colours and quality is fab- glides on easily and remains all day.

Dreadful pigmentation, wondering if I got a dud. Straight in the bin

This is a really good eye shadow palette.You get 15 colours which compliment each other well form warm brown tones to green tones and I would describe it all as a warm palette.Applies nicely and is muted but in a good way.Goes on and comes off well and the range of colours allow for some blending.

Despite the 15 colours not having a name they are all nice. They are all shimmers. They aren’t the strongest of colours and I don’t know if you can use them wet as it doesn’t say. In fact there isn’t much said about the colours at all on the packaging.

An average-to-good quality eyeshadow. A little stiff in the pans but scraped and applied with a brush has good coverage and colour.

Ardell Beauty Pro Eyeshadow Palette has a selection of 15 different eyeshadows in a cardboard palette, they are decent sized cakes of eyeshadow and the palette isn't flimsy or cheap - but you do not get any sot of applicator included and no mirror on the lid of the palette, which may not be suitable for everyones needs.I'm not a huge fan of palettes because I tend to only use a few colours, unfortunately this palette only has a few colours I'm likely to use regularly - in fact as I write this my white is gone, while I've other colours I've not even touched - there's not enough variation between shades and all the colours are a little too dark for me, I'd have liked to have seen maybe a dusty rose or a subtle peach colour in this set. If you're looking for brown mattes this palette should see you right.White is my litmus test when it comes to pigment, a cheap shadow in white won't even show up on my skin, while a good strong pigment will give me a much clearer white - the white in this palette passes my test, and the other shades thus pass too. You do get a nice pigment from these shadows, but the formulation also blends out really nicely. They re not the best quality I've ever used but they are a long way off cheaper brands for sure, so fairly good value.

Lovely range of colours with a delicate simmer to them. Went on nice and lasted well
