Great shoes!
They’re very comfortable shoes!I did end up returning them because I didn’t like the look, but that’s just personal preference….I prefer high top shoes, but these shoes are very comfortable and they do give that “no shoe” feel. Which is great for working out. The tread was amazing too. They had some great grip to them. It felt like wearing grippy socks. A very lightweight feel.If they were a little bit longer I would’ve kept them, but again, that’s just personal preference.

Yeah. "Reduces impact" my mangled foot
These claim to “reduce impact” without saying of “what?” Having dropped a 15 pound dumbbell on my feet before, this supplier might want to remove that statement. Only shoes constructed of riveted sheet iron are likely to seriously reduce the impact of things that might hit your foot while lifting.Otherwise, the shoes are pretty nice. I got them for my daughter, who is just getting into free weights. She is not a dedicated weightlifter like I was for years, and I’ve cautioned her not to be. She says these are “okay.”I worked the shoes over by hand, checking them out as best I could without being able to wear them and I was not impressed. I don’t see any reason to expect them to be considered a good substitute for the top or even mid-line lifting shoes. The construction just isn’t there. Lifting shoes that really do the only decent job of anything short of my sheet iron shoes protecting feet can cost well north of three times the cost of these.I see several mentions of “zero drop shoes.” Seriously? It happens. You don’t plan it or expect it ever. You can’t wear “zero drop shoes” every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and tougher ones on other days. Believe me, I know. So do not get these because you are going to lift weights but are planning to stick to zero drops. Get them for comfort and balance and maybe some grip.Do I consider them a good option if the best shoes are unaffordable. My daughter says probably. They seem to give her a bit better fit; they grip pretty well and she feels that her ankles are supported better than in plain tennis shoes. So, yeah, probably a good idea to consider these with that in mind. You get what you pay for, and I can only recommend these if you cannot or will not purchase the real deals. I still give them 3 stars because at least they are better than moccasins. I don’t see these shoes insuring the type of grip and balance that a shoe needs to actually help avoid gym accidents, but they do give someone at least some comfort and improved footing.

Comfortable. I am still wearing them
I had never heard of weightlifting shoes until I saw these. I do workout with weights but I wear regular track shoes. I decided to try these out in my workout today and I am still wearing them. Usually when I return home after my workouts I remove my gym shoes and slip into my house shoes. They are so comfortable that I have not bothered removing them after 5 1/2 hours of having them on. They did not slip or skid at all while I worked out in them. I have two types of flooring in my home, hardwood and marble. They are still non-slip, but on the marble floor they do squeak. Not annoyingly but definitely noticeable. Their purpose isn't for walking on marble flooring so that does not reduce any rating of them. I ordered them in my regular shoe size 7 and when I first tried them on I wondered if I should have sized up half a size. They didn't feel tight but my big toes were right at the top of the shoes. After having them on for a while I believe they have stretched some because now my toes are not hitting the top of them. Oh yes. There was a lady at the gym who inquired about what kind of shoe I was wearing and said that she liked them. I showed her the manufacturers tag on them and told her that I ordered them from Amazon. These shoes are comfortable keepers.

Not Supportive for Lifting & Misleading Size Chart
If you’ve spent the last few minutes deciphering the sizing options and questioning whether they’re for men or women, you’re in good company. Despite the confusion, I ordered based on the provided size chart. My feet measure exactly 28 cm, so I followed the chart’s suggestion and ordered a size 12.5. While my standard size is 10.5 US Men’s, I thought perhaps the listed sizes were for US Women’s, so I trusted the chart. Unfortunately, the shoes are at least 1.5 to 2 sizes larger than necessary. A more appropriate size would likely be 10.5.Several reviews touted these shoes as suitable for various activities and sports, though specifics were lacking. I purchased them specifically for deadlifting and squatting, as my four-year-old Merrell Glove barefoot shoes are wearing out. However, I’m perplexed by the advertising of these shoes as lifting footwear—they offer minimal support. They feel akin to socks with a rigid sole. The single strap intended to secure the foot sits too low. During heavy lifts, the foot slides freely within the shoe, with no support provided to the ankle area. Frankly, deadlifting barefoot would be more safe than using these shoes.
