A good gift item
Nice packing. Good product. But these days no one really uses these type of razors.

Be very careful!
Trinity Care TR201 Stainless Razor Safety Razor Handle & Open-Close Comb Head, Nicely engineered razor, I really wanted this as it looked like the one my Dad used and taught me to shave with, comes with 10 blades that shoud last a fair while unless you have strong beard growth. But - be very careful I managed to seriously cut my fingers in two places just loading the blade, definitely don't leave this around if you have kids or grand kids. For clarity - 'safety razor' is just the difference between this and a 'cut throat' razor, this is not a Bic twin blade!!! I had my shave in memory of my Dad I'm now going to hide this and probable never use it again.

Horrible suprise
The razor arrived in a battered cardboard box, cellotaped around. Both the handle and the head covered with quite thick, but robust paint. Even the screw on the cover plate was covered with paint which did not let me to screw the handle in more than halfway. The handle looks and feels good and seems to be really made of stainless steel. The head is most likely zinc alloy. After removing the paint from the screw with Dremel / wire brush, I managed to screw the handle on, however the base plate had two groves which still did not let me to srew all the way in (WHAAAT). So Dremel out again and sand off the edges in a cicle. See pictures. After all this I thought I will just thow the head away and use the quite decent looking handle only, but I thought I will give it a chance. The open comb side is very aggressive, but easily manageable, on two passes, great results with only two minor cuts. The closed side is perfect to finish up the job. It is quite difficult to insert and remove the blades due to the thick paint on the bottom of the back plate. Overall it will be a keeper as a travel razor.I do not think it is worth the money, the trouble and work unless you are really into dual heads and on low budget. Instead I would suggest Ikon B1 OSS which you can have for 78 pounds on amazon.co.uk and is a decent full stainless steel dual head razor.
