I'm Not Sure What to Think - Not Rancid but Doesn't Seem Fresh
I work with a LOT of essential oils both for human and animal use. The really fresh and well prepared oils have a wonderful fresh smell & feel on application that provides a sense of well being.When I opened this product, it definitely wasn't rancid but it did not smell fresh. Since there is no bottling or use by date, it's impossible to tell how old the oil is. It could be very new but roasted during shipping.It's definitely OK for animal use and probably OK human use - but when I pay $18/oz for a premium oil to use on my face, I don't want to mess around with "probably OK."

Smells awful
Purchased for dry scalp. It did condition my scalp and a little went far, but I couldn’t get past the smell. It smelled like old cooking oil and the odor lingered for hours, definitely no fruity raspberry fragrance.
