Enjoyable Read.
Daggers & Dresses is the second book in Kristin D. Van Risseghem's Enlighten series, and it's another enjoyable read. If you enjoyed the first book, you certainly need to dive into this second to see how things develop. We get more of the things we loved in the first book, along with some new interesting aspects, and an ending that will leave you in dire need of book three. Well worth the read.

Another excellent book in the Enlighten series.
Another excellent book in the Enlighten series. I'm not a fan over spoilers so I'm not going say too much about the story. I wouldn't want to spoil it story for you. The series is about angel's, demons, werewolves, fairys and everything in between. The story is based around tge fight for good and evil, god and the devil but its not over the top. The book flows from start to finish and pulls you in head first. You don't need to have read book one as your given little reminds all the way through but it's not all in one go so you don't feel like your reading the same thing twice if you have read the first book.I received a free copy of the novel from the author I had the opportunity to review or not if I wanted to

World building
Zoe is less annoying in this book and actually tries to learn so that she can achieve her goal. Lots of new characters and world building. A slower pace but it's needed to fit this all in. I'm looking forward to book 3

Excellent
This is book two in the series and as good as if not better than the first one. Again angels, demons, fairies and magic just what I like. This romance was a bit less in this one too. Highly recommended.

On the run from Demons.
I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book in the series and picks up the next day after Zoe saved Cali's life. We meet some new characters and also get better acquainted with old ones.We meet Shay's father, the archangel Gabriel along with Archangel Michael as all three of them go searching for a Seraph Angels sword. They have a lead as to where one could be so they go on a retrieval mission. Unfortunately for Shay, it ended with Demons dragging him down to Hell. But never fear! The Angels are on the case and are out there looking for him.During which time a new neighbour, Aiden, moves in next door to Zoe and her family and is setting off all sorts of weird signals with Zoe.But to get back to what she's ultimately there for, her purpose, they go to visit the Alpha of Vash's wolf pack and King Oberon in fairyland but both trips result in being overrun by demons and blood being shed.Kieran, Gabriel and Michael manage to break Shay out of Hell and bring him home but he's still unconscious and won't wake up. At least, not until Zoe manages to lead him back through a mental link with him. She's getting more used to her new found powers now and using them to help everyone. But it seems to me that all through the book Zoe is very forgetful about what she tells to who. When asking one person for information about something, she is told that they don't know and advised to ask another person because they ought to know instead, but she doesn't. If she had pursued the mark that her new neighbour has, a triquetra mark, she might have been forewarned for what was to happen at the Prom. What happens I hear you ask? You'll have to read the book and see.I'd recommend this book to all..

If you enjoy anything Fantasy and Supernatural then this is the series for you
This is an exciting series and I highly recommend it, if you enjoy anything fantasy or anything supernatural, you will probably find it in this book. The storyline has you constantly on the edge of your seat, waiting for something to jump out or go wrong for the characters, especially the main female lead Zoe she just can’t seem to get a break. This has brilliant continuity, you will find the same characters as book.1. With a few added extras, that do a great job of keeping the story alive, fresh and interesting. Continually fighting for their lives and betrayals the characters won’t no who to trust. The cliffhanger at the end had me literally jumping shouting nooooooooooooo 🤐 . Summoning up, please tell me book.3. Won’t be to long to follow.Kristin D. Van Risseghem has the ability to draw you in, and keep you, enthralled until the very last word. The realism of emotions and world building is a credit to her talent as an author. However she never tells you that lose of sleep will be a factor once you start the first chapter.
