they should catch steelhead just fine.
What is there to really be said about beads!? They seem to be of good quality. As long as they don’t melt when they get wet, or have sharp hole edges they should catch steelhead just fine.

Color
In the 8mm size of this product, the color is not consistent! It ranges form transparent egg yolk to opaque egg yolk !They were not like that in the past! The other sizes of beads (6, &10 mm) are correct in color in their retail packages , which are of the transparent variety in the color of the beads. Don't understand why this is a problem for the 8mm beads!? Guessing different manufacturers ? Troutbeads brand needs to b addressed!

Wish I had done more research.
I bought the 6mm egg yolk for surf fishing rigs. I'm not impressed with the quality as each bead has little plastic tags from production. The color isn't solid and there's a lot of deviation, it's marbled from almost clear to egg yolk to red. Not to mention I just checked the big yellow-letter outfitters website and they're half the price. Guess I should have done more research, I just assumed that amazon would have a better price. They'll serve the purpose intended.
