We bought this book to help us make the most of a few days in Sofia. It pointed us to the key sights, explaining relevant information, which was helpful.

Good, informative guide
Having never been to Bulgaria and only visiting Sofia for a long weekend this book provided valuable information. I focused on museums, galleries and markets with info on culture and coffee shops, dining etc. This book is ideal with street maps which are accurate and very useful.

Good but a Sofia edition needed
This is a good book but it's difficult to cover an entire country in a single travel guide. There should be a specific edition on Sofia as the section is not detailed enough eg street plans and maps.
