fine historical subject - but the manufacturing
The book is about the 2nd journey of H.M. Stanley to Africa. which was undertaken from 1874 to 1877 in order to find the source of the Nile. During his journey Stanley found the source of the congo river and followed it until the Atlantic Ocean. The book is written from the view of two boys during an atlantic crossing on ship where they made Stanley's acquaintance after his famous journey (maybe fictional) and contains extracts of his 2 volume work and is illustrated with many photos.Although the text in the book and the photos are very interesting, the manufacturing of the book is not quite as good as I expected. The print quality is sometimes bad which makes some parts difficult to read (blurred, too dark), also some photos are quit too dark and therefore blurred. However, most disturbing is that many pages are double (e.g. p.45 is followed by p.36-44,55 than it continues with p.46). This can be found at many places in the book and therefore that spoil the reading of the book which would be otherwise very interesting.
