The length of the cable was exact! The provided fuse tube was perfect. I did use an automotive cable conduit to protect the cable from the engine and radiator heat since I routed via the left side of the bike (where the battery is). In the front, I came out on the right side of the dashboard. This USB charger works for the Garmin GPS and iPhone, and it’s 6.8A capability might be useful when recharging drone batteries and things like that. Being able to monitor the battery voltage and turning a master switch on/off is a great feature. The rubber cap seals really well, so it should protect during rain. (2014 Harley 48 / 2011 Triump Street Triple) *by on Reviewed in the United States May 26, 2024* First: I added this to both my bikes via a 40 amp relay that's triggered from the running lights when the bike is turned on. The main power lead is run from the positive terminal on the battery. This won't work when the bike is off, and is purposely wired that way, so the battery won't drain and random people can't charge devices from your bike when it's parked.I've had this wired up now for about a month and it's holding up well so far. I'll come back to this at a later date when needed for a lifespan update if warranted.
