Although I am not necessarily into lattes and such, I certainly enjoy drinking a good cup of green tea, sometimes with a touch of lemon and/or coconut oil. When I heard about the extraordinary health benefits offered by matcha tea, I decided to give it a try. Upon opening the Greenboxed matcha tea package, I was initially reminded of the similarity of the earthy bright green color and slight hint of the smell of wheatgrass. Thus far, I only have used this matcha green tea straight (1/2 teaspoon per cup of hot water) – which is just fine – since it tastes like a premium green tea with no bitter taste that I’ve read other brands of matcha teas can have.
