Is a present for my daughters 3rd birthday so hasn't been opened yet but looks great.

Our little girl really likes these toys because she likes frozen, but here are some things to be aware of with this nice toy set. Good size for little hands.The bag they come in is cool, but it is a bag made out of plastic so be cautious about it with kids that are too young not to put it on their head. Having said that, the bag is actually a pretty good quality and has lasted pretty well without any damage. The stickers and adornments on each item are really good and after lots of use have not started to peel or break off which is always nice.The comb is definitely plastic and not bristle. That doesn't hurt the play quality but if your kid likes to brush your hair with it like mine do, request soft strokes.The lipstick isn't particularly fun for our girl, because she isn't into makeup at her age, but it is well made.The perfume bottle probably leaves the most room for improvement as it doesn't "do" anything. Imagination is required which is fine.The hair clips are pretty good, but unless your kid has plenty of hair (mine has very thin and non-abundant hair) these will not stay in place. The ball knobs that they clip on with are pretty big which can poke into their heads and be a little annoying. Still, these are well made.The curling iron is really cool. The moving part can come off and easily be replaced but it doesn't seem to be a flaw, more of a feature.The hair dryer is really cool and not too loud. I don't like loud toys and this could be on all day and not bother me. The only problem with this is that your kid must be dexterous enough and finger strength enough to use the on/off button.Overall - this is really cool and worth the price.

I got this for my 4 year old for Christmas. She is always wanting to play with my hair. She absolutely loves this and plays with it everyday. The hairdryer uses 2 AA batteries and actually blows a little bit, which is enough to make her feel like she's doing something. The clips are thin, plastic snowflakes on top of a thicker plastic clip. They were a little hard for her to figure out. The curling iron doesn't really grab hair that well, but I think it's actually a good thing for her age, so that she's not getting her hair stuck in it. My 8 & 2 year old daughters like to play with it too, but I'm not sure it would remain a favorite like I think it will for my 4 yr old. It comes with a large plastic purse/bag with handles that zips up that she uses to carry all the pieces, among lots of other toys. It's a really cute set for a little girl who likes to fix hair.

This is a HUGE hit. My 2 year old and 8 year old play with it together almost daily now. The 2 year old loves to use the blow dryer, which IMO is the coolest part of sets like these anyway. I did, however, find the over-sized storage bag cumbersome and unnecessary. It just takes up more space than it has to. I would love to see a case or bag for this that is appropriately sized for the contents it will hold. That said, I suppose those with extra accessories might enjoy the larger bag.

$5 cheaper than at a popular retail outlet and a hit among 4 year old girls! My daughter and her cousins have a blast playing with these toys. The blow dryer "works" - really it mostly makes a low blow dryer noise and you can kinda almost feel air coming out. The clips don't really stay in anyone's hair either, but the girls like it so 5 stars it is.

Better quality than expected. Hair dryer makes noise and blows a little air, making it a hit. Granddaughter loves this for her vanity. As long as I can keep my grandson away from it, I expect it to last a while!
