They did the job.
Good product to reduce water waste, especially in a rental where guests don't acre about how much water they use.Easy to install.

Big water use reduction
When these showed up looking small I was worried, but as soon as I took the head off and looked at the existing 2.5 g/m reduced it made perfect sense. The swap was easy and painless. Now we have a significant savings in water use + the hot water tank can go much further. This was such a better alternative than replacing the entire shower head both in terms of cost, but also the waste of the existing head. Nice!UPDATE: The size of these is just small enough that after a few uses, the water pressure can flip them in their side. A total pain in the butt because you have to undo everything. Will find something else.

flow restrictors were not labeled
The shower head I had purchased previously was supposed to come with two flow restrictors. It only came with the 1.8 gpm which delivered a very weak shower stream that took long time to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. I ordered these because I wanted a higher gallon per minute flow restrictor. As it turned out I had to use the largest one to get something close to a satisfactory shower flow. On the positive, they were very inexpensive, easy to install and much better than what I got with the original shower head

Same problem like others, virtually non-usable
This and other similar products (Made in China for US market) have a problem - they are smaller than standard US shower hose and hard to keep in place. Actually, I doubt it's just the US market. Never been to China, but I can't imagine this thing fitting into any shower hose properly. In addition to sizing, the colored insert flips under water pressure and defeats the purpose of having thin in the first place. Very frustrating and hard to make them work.

Perfect fit
Inserted into a Kerber shower head. Perfect fit. Used white 2.5. I think the one replaced was a 1.7 as per the manufacture's website. If you haven't done something like this before. If you can't unscrew by hand, tape over the fixture to protect the finish before you use a wrench. I used blue paint tape. When screwing the head back on use white plumbers' tape on the threads (prevents leaks). Hand tighten.

These work
W live in California and the shower in one of our bathrooms had far too much pressure and did not meet current building codes. We put in the 1.8 and it works perfectly. The flow is still strong enough to rinse my hair well and quickly without wasting a ton of water in the process.

Tiny
I should have read the reviews first these filters are tiny not worth shipping back would cost me more than I paid. It’s my $5.00 if you would like to credit me back, I would appreciate it. I tried to use in overhead shower to reduce water pressure. Last thing on my mind was false advertising. It’s Amazon? This should not happen we live in the USA. Plumbing has a stand diameter. I guess not.🤨
