I love the labeling and all the different designs you can use. I love the flowers.

The sensor only detects the transparent tape if I get the tape tight on the sensor. When I close the lid, the sensor doesn't detect the transparent tape and turns from a solid green LED to flashing red. 🟢🔴😡📼 I had to keep pulling because while the tape is transparent, the peel-off backing is translucent. The leading tape is transparent which is confusing. Eventually, I pulled past the transparent to get to translucent peel-off backing tape. 🫤

Works well. Good it free with a bundle so can’t talk about price. Right size for machine. A good buy.

I love the idea of a clear label and (before the device update), the creative ways to make labels for things. I love being able to design my own labels, and they are different, and using clear is nice for them. When I first got the label maker, which came with color label tape, I knew I wanted clear and ordered this. Installing was easy, and it prints out perfectly, it just doesn’t age well after washing it off on some of my water bottles and coffee cups (that I bring in to a work environment). It begins to discolor and peel. The one on the left is the hot tea commuter container I use, and it’s frequently washed, and it’s discolored and peeling. The water bottle, on the right, is fine, because it doesn’t get washed. I also use it on my power adapters, and, pictured, you can see how it looks. Again, not totally vanishing, but it works as expected for the price.

Not great packaging 😕 it looks like a return... the printer hasn't arrived yet so I can't say how it works or it's quality atm. But the tape is dirty where it looks like someone touched it and left dead skin behind 🤢 *UPDATE* MakeID sent me a new label and its in perfect condition! I was able to finally use the printer and it's every bit as perfect as I had hoped for! I've used this in a classroom for 3 year olds to label their spots on the coat rack, their bathroom bins and cups. I've even used a few in my planner and have had fun using the picture feature to create a sticker of one of my personal drawings 😄

Das Etikettenband paßt perfekt in das E 1 Beschriftungsgerät von Makeid. Achtung!! Das Band muss etwas aus dem Etikettiergerät herausgezogen werden, sonst startet das Gerät nicht und druckt nicht! Die Druckqualität ist jedoch hervorragend! Ich finde das Etikettenband jedoch etwas zu teuer und werde nach einer etwas günstigeren Alternative suchen!

So far so good. I don't have a lot of needs for this printer and tape so I'm looking forward to seeing if the adhesive will still be good in a year or two.
